I retired from being Director of Preschool programs for a regional education service center in August of 2008. I am continuing to explore the options for my next employment adventure. I have been married to Bill for 29 years (love of my life), and we have two wonderful boys–Brandon 26 and Brett 23. Our home also includes three dogs, one cat and two Dwarf rabbits.
My educational experience includes being a current licensed Speech Language Pathologist, an education administrator (including Head Start, PreK and Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities), a preschool transition teacher (Teaching Through Language and Communication), a preschool national High/Scope trainer, an Alternative Learning Specialist (PS-Grade 12), and a parent trainer.
My interests include reading, studying about the brain and learning, scrapbooking, knitting scarves, and volunteering in the community.

Hey Mom,
Your blog looks great. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Love,
Brandon
Thank you, Brandon! I really enjoyed working on this today—it’s rainy and cold outside! I added my first Early Childhood story a few minutes ago-my favorite moment!
